==========2 nd Node preparation ==========
click on vm->clone->rac02->location->Generate a new MAC address ->full done->clone.


start the machine ..change the hostname


vi /etc/hostname


rac02.oracle.com


go to applications ->network->chnage the ip's and select.




go to settings->network->identify->change the mac address and ip's off..check the internet and on all ...


#systemctl restart systemd-hostnamed
#bash
#hostname
#poweroff


now both the nodes are down ......and create the shared storage ..


click on node2->file->virtual media manager ->create ->fixed size -> next-> create folder -> shareddisk filename rac-asm-disk1 and rac-asm-disk2 and rac-asm-disk3


make it sharable these 2 disk and apply. 50 gb each of disk.




On node1 .go to storage->non attached devices -select and save start the machine.
On node2 go to settings and select the disks.


now on both the machanies....on node1 fdisk -l

now we have to do
oracleasm scandisks
oracleasm listdisks




now login as oracle user and extract the software..


mkdir -p /u01/soft
cd /media/software
ls -ltr
cp 19cgrid /u01/soft
cp db_home /u01/soft
chown -R oracle:oinstall /u01
chmod 775 /u01


on node2 also do the same.


chown -R oracle:oinstall /u01
chmod 775 /u01


login as oracle to rac01 server..

mkdir -p /u01/app/19.3.0/grid
rac02
mkdir -p /u01/app/19.3.0/grid


cd /u01/soft
ls -ltr
unzip 19cgrid -d /u01/app/19.3.0/grid/


To chekc the progress of the mgmtdb.

create the RECO disk group..

on node2:
mkdir -p /u01/app/oracle/product/19.3.0/dbhome_1


login as a oracle user:


unzip Oraclesoftware -d /u01/app/oracle/product/19.3.0/dbhome_1
cd /u01/app/oracle/product/19.3.0/dbhome_1
./runInstaller


setup the software only.
oracle Real Application cluster database installation.


=========oracle rac one node Database creation ==========


vi /etc/orata

dbca To create one node database for one node oracle database .


on rac01 add the below entries

on rac02 add the below entries

add these disks to the node02 then add to the node01
